Chunjanggong Han Baek-Rok (1555-1592) was born in Seo-myeon, Bangdong-ri in Chuncheon and his ancestral home is Chungju. He was a loyal retainer who died bravely in a naval battle during 'Imjinwoeran' under the command of the Great General Lee Sun-Shin and General Wongyun.

After he passed the military service examination, he became 'Jinjamhyeongam'. When he sarted for the new position of 'Jisepomanho' which was under jurisdiction of 'Gyeongsangwususa', 'Imjinwoeran' was burst out. He used to win a great victory in 'Okpohaejeon' with Gyeongsangwususa, Wongyun and Jeollajwasusa, Lee Sun-Shin.

In succession, he made gains in war at 'Happo' and 'Jeokjinpo'. Owing to this, he was appointed to 'Busancheomsa', but died in battle at 'Namhae Mijohang at the age of 38 (July 17, 1592. the 25th year of the King Seonjo's reign of Joseon Dynasty).

He was promoted to 'Jeongryeo' in 1751 (the 21th year of the King Youngjo's reign of Joseon Dynasty), and 'Jaheondaebu Byeongjopanseo' in 1807 (the 7th year of the King Sunjo's reign of Joseon Dynasty), and was granted a posthumous epithet of 'Chungjang' in 1811 (the 11th year of the King Sunjo's reign of Joseon Dynasty).

His grave is located on the low hill in Seo-myeon, Geumsan-ri and its gate is located in Seo-myeon, Bangdong-ri.
