Although Korea has the topography where waterfalls do not develop well, since in the whole area of Gangchon-ri that has exceptionally a region that is not so high, waterfalls develop well and the transportation mode is made to be convenient, many tourists continue to visit here.

Duengseon waterfall constitutes the great landscape with Seonnyeotang(nymph bath), which has a legend of the nymph and woodcutter, and the cliff of curious rocks, and the refreshing flow of the waterfall is cool even in summer.
From the 1st waterfall with the height of 10 m to the 3rd waterfall, you will climb through the stair road of the rail, and the climbing road that passes through here to reach Mt. Samaksan is not so steep, so newcomers can climb it easily.
