In the Hyeonam folk museum, which was built with the basement and two stories on the ground, and with the floor area of around 200 pyeong, the audience can appreciate various folk paintings, the earthenware, and the ceramic ware, which include the personal odors of the forefathers from three kingdoms' period to Joseon period.

Director of the Hyeonam folk museum, Gang, Jeon Yeong, enabled around 200 ceramic wares and around 50 folk paintings, which he collected with difficulty for about 30 years, to be viewed by the general public through the folk museum.
'Togiguryongjeongbyeong' of Goryeo period brought from Yanji city of China is a work that is said to be able to be viewed in North Korea but not be able to be viewed in South Korea.
