As the
highest mountain among basin mountains
surrounding Chuncheon, this mountain
with the height of 899 m is rising
up on the mountain range stretching
from Mt. Garisan (1,051 m)£®
Since being a land mountain whose
geographical features are gently-sloping,
this mountain is a course where even
a newcomer can easily climb up. Representative
courses are the course in which climbers
climb from Banagol, Geodu-ri, Dongnae-myeon
to Gapduni upward slope and then,
climbing along Bukreung up to the
summit, and the course in which climbers
climb from Gomsil village, Goeun-ri
in the south of Goedu-ri, toward Seoreung,
and then climbing up to the summit.
The hiking distance is around 10 km
and it takes five hours to complete
the climbing.?? Since a view point
was constructed on the summit, from
the view point, Lake Uiam spreads,
and upward to the sky, Mt.Samaksan
and Mt. Jugeumsan spread, and behind
Seokparyeong, Mt. Daegeumsan, Gitdaebong,
Yaksubong, Maebong, and Mt. Yeoninsan
are viewed. To the south, Mt. Yongmunsan
and Mt. Yumyeongsan are seen. The
scenery of Mt. Bonguisan, Lake Uiam,
and Chuncheon downtown seen down in
the west is very beautiful. |
