Introduction of Tourist Attraction : The Chuncheon Art Gallery started from the exhibition hall in the children¡¯s hall in Samcheon-dong in 1995 by the effort of the Chuncheon Fine Art Association for growing Chuncheon, a city of lakeshore, into a city where art and culture breathe freshly. This art gallery, which in the meantime, became a field for the lively work presentation of Chuncheon artists, and performed a role of the refrigerant for citizens¡¯ lives and for expanding the ground of fine art culture, came to start newly, by the old central Methodist church building in Okcheon-dong having been smartened up into the exhibition hall.
The Chuncheon Art Gallery is a comfortable culture and rest space for citizens, which enables anyone of citizens to easily approach and breathe the fresh aroma of culture together.
