This championship
prepares an opportunity of making Chuncheon take
off into the central city of Taekwondo, through
the regular hosting of the international Taekwondo
championship, which is held under the approval
of the World Taekwondo Federation, along with
an opportunity of various international exchanges
through combining the knowledge and culture infra
of Chuncheon city with Taekwondo, which is the
national sports. Also, this championship is a
field of the festival for members of the world
Taekwondo fraternities, in which various culture
and art events are held together along with the
participation of various people through the open
match method. It consists of the eve, opening
ceremony, match(competition, contest, competition
for each belt color), closing ceremony, and side
events.
