Myeongdong Dakgalbi Location
Myoung-dong, Onui-dong and Hupyoung3-dong, Chuncheon,
When it comes to famous Chuncheon food, many Koreans think of Dakgalbi. Seasoned with diverse kinds of seasoning, this is the most famous food of Chuncheon.
In the 1960s, it was developed as aa accompaniment of drinks in a shabby bar in Chuncheon. But since it was very affordable and tasty, it stared to be loved by many college students as well as the general public and it has now become today’s Chuncheon Dakgalbi. There are three representative Dakgalbi towns and among them Myeongdong Dakgalbi Town is the most famous one. Along with these towns, other Dakgalbi towns are located in Onui-dong, Hupyoung-3dong Dakgalbi towns. These days, many foreigners come to these towns to taste the edible one.
Chuncheon Dam Maeuntang
Location: Chuncheon Dam, Seo-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon province
Located at the upper part of the Bukhan River, Chuncheon Dam boasts its surrounding gorgeous natural environment. And thanks to the convenient traffic conditions, many visitors want to look around this Dam.
Chuncheon Dam Maeuntang is surely loved and enjoyed by many Koreans because of the freshly-caught fish. It is enough to enchant gourmets who like spicy and plain taste.
Chuncheon Dam Maeuntang Town located around Chuncheon Dam is probably the best place to eat the famous Maeuntang: Watching the breathtakingly beautiful scenery, while having the best soup will be the most wonderful experiment for many visitors.
Saembat Makguksu Town
Location: Ilwon, Cheonjeon-ri, Shinbuk-eup, Chuncheon-si
Visitors can enjoy the sheer joy of selecting restaurants because there are so many restaurants selling this food. Located at the outskirt of the downtown, it provides a wide area of parking lots and beautiful scenery.
Makguksu can be tasted differently according to seasons. During winter, warm gravy will add better taste, while during the summer, the cool Dongchimi soup becomes its best partner.
